Bought it as a impulse buy since my family and I were going camping and had no tunes, bought it at Walmart and when we showed up camping we pulled it out, it was fully charged and we immediately started playing sublime. It sounds good for a mono speaker boom box, bass lines were audible which is rare for boomboxes, we started using at noon and it kept going til 10pm without plugging it in to the generator. It charges while plugged in and it even charges the iPhone 4s no problem, I didn't know you could play the fm radio and iPhone at the same time since we wanted to hear the soccer game and listen to music at the same time. Also as a added bonus we could use the line in AUX input and the iPod dock as a simple mixer to go from one song to another from two different iPods. Overall I give this thing 10/10. Worked damn well for camping.

i bought this for my outdoor beach wedding to use to amplify our officiant and us while we said our vows, etc. and also to play music for the ceremony from my ipod. this speaker works amazingly well with clear, LOUD sound. its very easy to use, very adjustable, lightweight and sturdy. and it charges your ipod! the battery lasts really long, we used it all day tailgaiting on the beach and it didnt run out! i havent run it down so i dont know exactly how long it lasts, but it outlasted our party! this product was PERFECT for my beach wedding, cheaper than renting equipment and so easy to use that it helped my day go smoothly!
BalasHapusWell designed and sturdily constructed unit. Very little noticible distortion when cranked up to full volume. Because of iPod capability, it won't be sitting around waiting for the next public speaking or singing event. It'll be in the garage or back yard playing away for hours and hours. The included microphone is of nice quality. One of the most pleasing purchase I've made.

BalasHapusI purchased the Tailgater because it supports a microphone system. My iPod fits easily onto the adapter. It's fairly small and has great volume. Although I do have the ability to plug it in, I have found it useful in situations where there is no outlet. I use a small dolly for transport and although it works well sometimes I wish I had purchased the Tailgater that has wheels and a handle. Overall a really good buy!

BalasHapusThis unit was one of the first I saw, I was actually looking for something a little smaller but that had a powerful punch regarding sound quality. I decided to pull the trigger on this one based off the good reviews.
When he unwrapped it he was blown away. Its a reasonable size and has two handles on the sides for carrying purposes. I can easily carry it myself as its not heavy. It comes with a microphone which my husband immediately claimed he would be using to sing kareoke (the machine doesnt do that, but he likes to kid)
It plays music clearly, so much so that several other tailgaters made positive comments about how nice it is. We hooked up Pandora on our iPhones and went to town. This unit is one that you charge up, which we did upon opening it. It says 8 hours of play at a full charge. We played it all day tailgating (around 4-5 hours) and continued to use it for several more hours at home over the next few weeks, to the point that I was surprised that it was still playing without having recharged!
Long story short, we absolutely love it and it was totally worth the money. Great product.

BalasHapusThis little thing is awesome. It's loud, has reasonable bass, an amazing battery life, and is compact. I don't have an ipod/iphone, but it will even charge it for you.
BalasHapusThis is a 5 star product, the only downside is that it is a little heavy and a little awkward to carry any distance as there is no top handle, only side handles. I am a relatively strong person and if I carry this one handed more than 100 yards I realize how heavy this product is. I would consider it bad design not having an alternate method to carry it but at the price and given how expensive the other products are with similar features I write that off as a minor drawback.
It comes with a microphone and cable to connect MP3 players and non ipods/iphones so it really does come with just about everything you need right out of the box.
I highly recommend this product.
I had previously wanted to buy a bose system that retailed for $300 but my girlfriend convinced me to buy this instead. Since it was so cheap ( $120) I decided " what the heck" allright. I did not have my hopes up since i wanted the bose dock so bad but as soon as i heard this thing I was extrmemly excited with my new toy. I use it every weekend for my softball games and literally have the entire field dancing. Its extremely loud and durable. This is probably one of the coolest things tat I have ever bought! I recommend this to everyone! I'm even thinking of buying another one for my dad.
