Harmon Kardon HK395 3 Piece Speakers
I bought three of these speaker sets and was amazed of the sound and not only that they give no problems like distortion and other related sounds systems can render. I use them with an MP3 player or Pandora out in my 3 car garage. It's loud enough that neighbors could complain and has great subdued bass. Not irritating. I had to plan an outdoor wedding and I have several amplifiers that take awhile to wire and big setup time. I thought it through several months and I said wait a minute how far can I push these speakers and used them at the wedding they filled the area perfectly. Easy setup fits in a little suit case made me look like a pro. I bought them all at a $40 price range used before anyone really knew they were great. I set my dad up with a set hooked to a grace radio. He sits in the garage with Pandora and loves the speakers. My dad is not good with electronics at all but all he has to do is flip a switch on a power strip and it plays not much to mess up there. Power up an actual amplified setup like that and a huge pop can occur.

BalasHapusI've told at least 30 people that this is easily the best product I've ever owned. I've had these speakers for over 10 years now and they still blast out bass better than most speakers coming out today. A little worn over the years, but I've dropped them hundreds of times and they still work just as great as they did the first day I got them. Excellent product.
BalasHapusI got these speakers 9 years ago and they just broke. The most amazing thing is that they lasted four years of college. I threw them around often and used these for parties. They were great! The sound was great, the bass was really good and I have zero complaints. I am worried that my next set of speakers will not be as good.
BalasHapusI have dropped these speakers five dozen times over the past 10 years carrying them back and forth from my outdoor deck to the computer, sometimes hooking them up to an ipod, sometimes the computer. They still work great. Just a great little system.
BalasHapusI agree with the other reviewers. These speakers came with my Dell PC and have lasted about 8 years or so, long after I got rid of the computer.
BalasHapusI have heard many newer speakers that cost over $100 that don't even come close. The sub is the centerpiece and gives tight and punchy bass and gets incredibly loud for only 30 watts. I've blasted these at full volume so I could dye my hair in the bathroom down the hall or clean the house and still enjoy music.
If you can find these for under $80, get them!
For the price these are really a good deal. I use them to augment my VISIO TV teeny speakers. The sound is excellent if you don't require a $700 audio add-on to your TV watching.

I'm not really sure if they make this speaker set new anymore at the time I wrote this review, but this set is extremely high quality. This set is high enough quality that I actually decided to buy the same exact set again after my last one broke after 7 years of use. You will be surprised by how good the sub-woofer sounds and how well the sound carries. The small speakers are of medium quality, but still good for the price of the set as a whole. Highly recommend for those who want good sound for a cheap price.
BalasHapusI use these speakers in a garage with a radio/ipod and they sound great! Sound fills the whole area and the subwoofer gives great bass. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!
