We own three of these. My husband connects his ipod or touch while doing yard work. Better than trying to keep the radio signal in sync; freedom from having to plug in. I connect it to a digital recorder when playing back fiddle lessons. I've also used it to play music at my dance school. You can piggyback two and get more volume. I did this to play music for nursing home performances (a lot easier than lugging a boom box). [However, seniors don't hear so well, so we're back to the boom box!] In larger rooms, obviously, the sound isn't fabulous, but in a smaller room, it's great. Might be nice if it had its own volume control (you adjust this via the device you connect). Typically I have to set it just under full to avoid distortion. Have recommended these speakers to others who have loved them. True value for your $.

BalasHapusThis little thing packs a punch! It has great volume and a clear, deep bass. I find it great for listening to music or watching movies in my dorm room. The only two problems that I have with it are:
BalasHapus1) The speakers emit a buzzing sound when the USB cable is plugged in (for charging) along with the audio. Just keep the USB cable unplugged when listening and everything is fine.
2) At a high volume, the whole thing shakes and tends to move around my desk, causing it to fall off sometimes. Secure it and there won't be any problems.
I'll still give it 5 stars because this product deserves it for its price and portability.
I did not think this small portable speaker would sound so good. It is packed with so much sound. I would recommend this to a friend.

BalasHapusThis is an awesome product. Surprisingly loud, probably 2-3 times as loud as my MacBook laptop alone without the speaker. Great sound, good design.
BalasHapusI am always pleased with the shipping from Amazon. The speaker came on-time and in only a couple of days. I did have to charge the speaker before I used it. For the first charge I plugged the cable into my USB port of my pc and it took about 2 hours to charge. When charging was complete I connected the speaker to my iPhone 4 and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of sound that was coming from this tiny speaker. It really blew me away. My first full day use was on the beach. There was enough full sound for my group to hear within 15-20 feet of the speaker even with all of the beach noises around. I even noticed people that were camped next to us singing along with some of the songs. We were on the beach for about 6 hours and the sound was never lacking. Took it back the second beach day without charging and after about 4 more hours of use I did notice the sound starting to distort. The next charge I connected the cable to my iPhone wall plug and it charged in about an hour. This was $20 well spent for a very compact and full sound mini speaker.
